Demand Increased; FMCG Company Share Set Record Date March 8 For Stock Split

Shares of Manorama Industries (NSE: MANORAMA), which deals in food products, rose 10% in a single day after the company announced a stock sub-split in the range of 1:5.

Shares of Manorama Industries Limited closed at Rs 2,028.00 with a gain of 8.31 percent. The price of shares rose by 8.31 percent.

The company has also fixed its record date to determine the shareholders eligible for the stock split reward.

According to Manorama Industries’ regulatory filing, the company has fixed Friday, March 08, 2024 as the “record date” to determine the eligibility of equity shareholders for sub-division/stock division of existing equity shares of the company.

Each equity share of face value Rs 10 will be sub-divided into equity shares of face value Rs 2 per equity share in the ratio of 1:5. This stock will be ex-split on March 8.

Manorama Industries Results

Revenue during 9 months of FY24 stood at Rs 3,277.5 crore, registering a growth of 31.6% year-on-year. 

The company saw the company grow because of increased sales and increased demand from both export and domestic markets in Russia, Latin America, Japan, and Europe.

EBITDA for 9 months of FY24 grew 32% year-on-year to Rs 527.5 crore. 

EBITDA margin during this period stood at 16.1%. PAT during 9 months of FY24 grew 39.6% YoY to Rs 276 crore. PAT margin increased by 48 bps YoY to 8.4%.

In 2005, MIL was founded. MIL is a world-class butters, special fats, and other exotic products manufacturer.

The company has established itself in the manufacturing of Sal CBE and Stearin, Shea CBE and Stearin, Mango CBE and Stearin and other exotic fats and butters.

MIL offers solutions to Fortune 500 companies in the confectionery, chocolate and cosmetics industries.
