Bastar: The Naxal Story is a true incident-based film directed by Sudipton Sen. Adah Sharma, Anangsha Biswasm, Shilpa Shukla, and Raima Sen played crucial roles. Vipul Amrutlal Shah produced this flick under the banner of Last Monk Media and Sunshine Pictures. Bishakhjyoti scored the songs and background scores.

The film is from the makers of The Kerala Story. It owned the news headlines for discussing the forceful Islam conversion in Kerala. But Kerala people and politicians strongly reacted against it, and the film was not released in most places. Hence, the expectation is high for the Bastar movie.
