Company Produced 1.51 Lakh Tonnes Highest Manganese Ore; Wait To Touch ₹300

Moil Ltd (NSE: MOIL): Government company MOIL released data related to its business after the end of the special session of the market on Saturday. The company has informed us that their performance in the last month in February has been their best performance to date. 

In February, manganese ore production increased by 15 percent compared to last year. Sales have risen 18% compared to the same period last year.

At the same time, in the first 11 months of the financial year, production has increased by 37 percent as compared to last year.

What Information Has The Company Given?

According to the information given by the company, the company produced 1.51 lakh tonnes of manganese ore in February, which has increased by 15 percent on a year-on-year basis. 

The company’s total production between April and February was 15.84 lakh tonnes, an increase of 37 percent compared to last year. The highest production in a financial year has been achieved since the founding of the company.

The company’s February performance at the sales level has also been excellent. The company has sold 1.56 lakh tonnes during the month, which is 18 percent more than last year. 

There has been a growth of 32 percent in sales so far in the financial year as compared to last year. The company is increasing its emphasis on mineral exploration.

So far in the current financial year, the company has more than doubled the scope of exploration as compared to last year.

How Have Been The Quarterly Results?

The company’s sales have increased from Rs 302 crore to Rs 306 crore in the December quarter. Whereas quarterly profit has increased from Rs 39.52 crore to Rs 54.1 crore. EBITDA has increased from Rs 76.2 crore to Rs 112.86 crore on a year-on-year basis.

In the past year, investors have received 87 percent of their investment back. Whereas the return in 3 years has been 64 percent. 

The stock has seen pressure in the short term and the stock has fallen by more than 21 percent in a month. In Saturday’s special session, the stock increased by 2.7 percent and closed at the level of Rs 281. The share may go up to Rs 300.

MOIL Limited is a manganese ore manufacturer.

The company has three segments, including mining, manufacturing, and power generation.

The Company’s underground and opencast mining operations are located in the districts of Nagpur, and Bhandara.

The open-cast Dongri Buzurg mine in Maharashtra’s Bhandara District produces manganese oxide ore for the dry battery industry. Manganous oxide is used in cattle feeds and fertilizers as a micronutrient.

The Company’s annual production is approximately 13 lakh tons.

The company produces and sells different grades and types of manganese ore. These include high-grade ore used for the manufacture of silico-manganese. 

It also includes blast furnace ore needed for the manufacturing of hot metal and dioxide for chemical and dry battery industries.
